TWISTED SISTER Frontman Performs With SCHOOL OF ROCK's 'All Stars' At Charity Event (Video)

November 26, 2010

TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider joined the School Of Rock music program's All Stars on Thursday, November 18 for a one-hour afternoon concert at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City to raise awareness for the Children's Miracle Network. The kids got to play two songs with Dee — the TWISTED SISTER classics "I Wanna Rock" and "We're Not Gonna Take It" (see video below) — before going on to perform a full "Rock Of Ages" set, including "Sister Christian", "Here I Go Again" and "Don't Stop Believin'".

The School Of Rock music program's mission is to inspire kids to rock on stage and in life.

Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals.

Snider made his Broadway debut on October 11 in "Rock Of Ages" for an 11-week limited run at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) in New York City. Check out photos from BroadwayWorld.com (scroll down).

Snider has taken over the part of Dennis, the owner of the Bourbon Room, which was played by Adam Dannheisser in the original Broadway cast.

"Rock Of Ages" is propelled by signature '80s rock anthems popularized by JOURNEY, TWISTED SISTER, JOAN JETT, PAT BENATAR, FOREIGNER, BON JOVI and REO SPEEDWAGON.
